1997-2004 C5 Corvette Power Seat Track Repair SERVICE, CLEVIS Replacement for Up and Down Travel

The item you are buying is for us to repair your seat track. You must send in yours for us to perform the repairs. If you are experiencing problems with the front or rear up and down travel, chances are the plastic clevis that operates the pivot arms are broken or the plastic bushings are worn out. Take a look at our pictures to see the plastic Clevis that is replaced by a new Clevis that is produced by C&S Corvettes are CNC machined out of billet 6061 aircraft aluminum.

If your seat also has the awful rocking back and forth and if there is a problem in the rear of the seat it is most likely the rear flanges (see pictures) that have failed. The parts were cast aluminum from the factory where as the parts we install, are also CNC machined out of billet 6061 aircraft aluminum so they should never break.

Our service replaces both rear flanges, ensuring they should never break again, along with the anti rock inserts that will fix the rocking in the seat. From the factory they used rubber as a shock absorber in the seat, after time these have worn away which causes the rocking back and forth of the seat. As part of our service the seat gets taken apart and reassembled to make sure it is working properly and with the correct lubricants. Lastly, after we have dealt with the rust on the front and rear pivot arms that move the seat up and down, the seat track gets painted to help protect it going forward. Once you take your seat track out of your car you will see that GM left these pieces bare metal and they all have surface rust on them.

The cost of the clevis replacement is $196 which also includes return shipping. The cost of our service to replace both broken flanges and install the anti rock inserts, along with a clean paint job once completed is $399 which includes return shipping to you. 

We do not send you someone else's seat and you must send in yours for service. Our service takes 2-3 business days before we ship it back to you.
